I relocated from Seoul to Frankfurt with three Ledger devices and a Casa setup. The German annex listed each wallet by my own labels—"Frankfurt rent vault" and so on—so I did not have to explain seed locations on the form itself.
The binder arrived with numbered tabs that matched the index my lawyer already used for traditional brokerage accounts. One section on valuation methodology was heavier than I expected; I had to read it twice. Still, the Steuerberater accepted it without amendment.
We ordered dual-heir sets for children in Busan and Vancouver. Service Elm Path shipped on different weeks as we asked. My daughter in Vancouver wished the cover color choices were documented in the index—minor note—but content parity was exact.
Annual review took ten days once I sent updated watch-only screenshots. The change log page alone saved me an afternoon with our accountant.
Extended account: Singapore PR supplemental filing
A client held cold storage on two Trezor models and one air-gapped laptop signer. Singapore PR renewal asked for “digital assets held offline” without exchange statements. We produced a twelve-tab binder: device register, balance estimation on 31 December, custody map showing devices in a Seoul safe and a Singapore deposit box, and a one-page glossary translating our labels to MAS-friendly vocabulary.
The client reported approval of the supplemental without follow-up questions. We stored a duplicate in our Daejeon vault slot per their retainer—released only with dual phone verification.

Extended account: Estate prep before Korea–US move
An entrepreneur preparing a move from Daejeon to Oregon needed documentation for US counsel while keeping a Korea tax adviser informed. We built a master index held by counsel, with Korea and US annex tabs. Emergency Access Documentation folio listed vault locations without naming heirs’ home addresses.
Counsel used the index during a trust amendment hearing. Client noted our refusal to embed a USB with wallet files was the right call—counsel agreed.
